Today 23 jan 2014 an explosion occurred near scheme chowk.

At least 12 killed and 22
wounded in an high intensity blast that occurred  in a workshop in car which was located near scheme chowk Peshawar, Rescue 1122 reported.

The Police told the media that the explosion was carried out via 25 to 30 kg of explosive which were fitted inside a Suzuki alto car.

Rescue team were reached at the place where incident took place. They immediately shifted the 6 injured people to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) while expressed fear for more casualties.

Several cars were destroyed during the incident while many were burnt. 

SP Fahim shah told the media that the explosion took place inside a market place in a Suzuki car . While further investigation will reveal the facts about the blast.

Bomb disposal squad were called up by the authority on the spot .
