Spanish Train Derails- Dozens Die-Spanish Train Accident

A train accident in north-western Spain took place this Thursday morning. The accident took place killing 77 out of 218 passengers while dozen them are still under recovery in medical centres.
All of the eight
carriages derailed as the train was speeding around the curve more than its
limits.
The train was heading
from Madrid to Ferrol and de
tracked near the city of
Santiago de Compostela.

According to the rescue
workers , they have recovered 73 dead bodies from the train wreckage while 4 of
the injured died in the hospital.
Judges are responsible for registering all of the death casualties.

A health officer told that more
than one hundred and forty passengers are receiving medical treatment
for their small to serious injuries.
Local
residents of the area rushed to the hospitals for donating the blood to
the injured persons as soon as it demanded from the
hospital doctors.

- · One of the eye witness told the Spanish Cadena Ser radio station ,” A lot of people were squashed on the bottom. We tried to squeeze out of the bottom of the wagons to get out and we realised the train was burning...I was in the second wagon and there was fire. I saw corpses.”
He described the whole story that how the train carriages piled up as it hit
the curve.
- · According to eye witness the train was moving very fast then the speed limit.
Meanwhile more than 300 Spanish police officers have been deployed
at the train accident spot.
According to media reporters the train was heading with twice the
speed limit.
Renfe which is rail firm confirmed that the train derailed about 2
miles from Santiago de Compostela station.
The Spanish train was on the express route between Ferrol and
Madrid.
